Alaska Boat Cruises – Small Group Alaska Inside Passage Cruises
We would like to invite you to join us on our Alaska Boat Cruises. Our custom 7 day adventure cruises in Alaska’s Inside Passage, aboard our custom 80′ luxury yacht the Alaskan Harvest.
Our excursions originate from the SE Coastal towns of either Sitka, Juneau or Petersburg. The tips will typically end in another town. A float plane flight will be scheduled at the beginning or ending of you cruise to or from the yacht, depending on weather and the date the trip is booked. We find seeing is a real bonus to your adventure and worth the minimal extra cost. Arrival and departure can be scheduled by boat if no flights are desired.
Activities enjoyed but not limited to on your Alaska boat cruises are whale, bear, and other wildlife viewing, fresh and or salt water fishing, kayaking, glacier view up close, sight seeing, crabbing, clamming, barbecuing, natural hot springs, historical sights, forest walks, beach combing, photography, sea lion rookeries, lighthouses, waterfalls, fish hatchery tours, and taking in the wild and majestic splendor at each turn as we cruise through the temperate rain forest of SE Alaskan wilderness. Our Alaska Boat cruises and tours are tailored to your group’s desire.
Our prices include all meals, snacks, and wine with your dinner. We can accommodate groups of up to twelve guests. We offer three cabins with private bathrooms and two cabins that share a bathroom. Each bathroom has a private sink, head, and shower.
Our 6 night/7 day Alaska boat cruise trips start at $26,000 for a group of six and added costs of $3,000 per person for more guests of up to 12 passengers maximum. Extra costs would be for extra days of cruising added to your 7 day trip, the float plane ride out to or from the yacht (plan on $250.00 approximate per person), hotel and food costs associated with your stay in Sitka, Juneau or Petersburg before or after your Alaska boat cruise, souvenirs, and gratuities. Alaska Airlines services all three towns of Juneau (JNU) Sitka(SIT) and Petersburg (PSG), either directly from Seattle or Anchorage. Daily flights are available.
Sample of Cruise Itineraries with Alaska Boat Cruises
Petersburg to Juneau Alaska Boat Cruise
Day 1: Leave Petersburg and board a floatplane out to yacht, experience possible bear and moose viewing & crabbing on Kupreanof Island.
Day 2: Move yacht to Tracy Arm and explore icebergs topped with seals by kayak or skiffs and magnificent glaciers of Ford’s Terror along the way. Whale sightings are popular along these waterways.
Day 3: More glacier exploration with possible sightings of Black Bear and Mountain Goats.
Day 4: Stop of in a small town of Taku Harbor or explore the mainland coast for sea life, wildlife, more kayaking or nature hiking.
Day 5: Cruising to the small town of Elfin Cove on Chichigof Island with salmon fishing to top off you trip along the way. Way sightings are very popular in the portion of the inside Passage.
Day 6: Exploration of the small Alaskan Native town of Hoonah by skiff, boardwalk, and Kayak. Flight from Hoonah back to Juneau where you will depart is depart is included. (Note included: Gratuities to crew and float plane ride from Petersburg is an add on approx. $250 per person for plane ride) Extend your trip by staying a few extra days in our states capital of Juneau! Juneau to Petersburg or Sitka
Start in Juneau. Visit Chichagof Island with stop in a quaint little town called Tenakee. Commence our journey south bound, cruising to Baranof Island: Tour Hidden Falls Salmon Hatchery and try some salmon fishing along the way. Visit the small town of Baranof Warm Springs with it’s beautiful waterfall, while soaking in a natural hot spring along the edge of a roaring river, or hiking up to a glacier fed lake for some trout fishing. Stop and looking at Sea Lion Rookeries and see brown bears up close and personal feeding on berries, sedge grass and salmon.
