Whether you’re after brown bear, black bear, or mountain goat, our Alaska hunting guide services will ensure that you experience the Alaska hunting trip of a lifetime.
Parker Guide Service provides a premier Alaska hunting trip experience aboard our 80′ yacht the Alaskan Harvest. All of our bear hunts are conducted from this luxurious full-service floating lodge.
Depending on your booking, you’ll arrive in Petersburg, Juneau or Sitka, Alaska, and fly on a seaplane to meet the yacht.
We’ll anchor in a quiet, secluded cove or bay and use our seaworthy 16 foot aluminum boats to reach our hunting areas each day, returning each evening to the luxury yacht, the Alaskan Harvest for delicious meals and relaxing accommodations while you share stories of your Alaska boat hunting adventures. We offer personal one on one hunting guide service with our 10 day Alaska Brown Bear hunts, only taking 2 to 4 hunters at a time to ensure you the best opportunities to see and choose from as many trophy Alaskan brown bears as possible. The average size of our bears is 8 1/2 ft. to 9 1/2 ft. This is a good representation of the coastal brown bears in Southeast Alaska. These brown bears can measure up to 9 1/2 ft. in this part of the state. Typically this is the largest size you will find in this area of Southeast Alaska.
You will see the most Brown Bears in this part of Alaska, as we have the highest recorded density in the State of Alaska on what are known as the Admiralty, Baranof, Chichigof Islands of Southeast Alaska. We have guide use areas on Baranof Island. You will likely see at least 20 different bears while hunting, and most of the time a lot more, sometimes 40-50 bears.
